Sequorr is free. Not freemium. Not "free for 14 days." Not "free with limited features." The training analytics engine — TSS, CTL, ATL, TSB, the Performance Management Chart, the fitness trend, the fatigue curve — all of it is free, for every user, permanently.
It's a decision rooted in how this product came to exist, who it was built for, and what we think is broken about the current landscape of training tools.
Who Sequorr Is Built For
Sequorr was built for self-coached endurance athletes. Runners who train alone by choice and make their own decisions about volume, intensity, and race selection.
Self-coached doesn't mean uninformed. It means you're the one reading the data, interpreting the trends, and deciding what tomorrow's workout looks like. You're the coach and the athlete.
The platforms that offer serious analytics are pricing out athletes whom run their own path, their own hardware, their own operability. The free alternatives are too basic to be useful — step counts, calorie estimates, and motivational badges don't help you peak for a marathon.
What Free Actually Means
When we say Sequorr is free, we mean the following features are available to every user with no paywall, no usage limits, and no expiration:
- Findrr — race discovery by location, distance, and terrain
- Activity tracking — GPS routes, pace splits, elevation profiles, heart rate zones
- HealthKit integration — steps, heart rate, sleep, VO2 max from Apple Watch
- Running Fitness Score — Base, Endurance, Speed, Sprint scoring with radar chart
- TSS calculation for every activity — heart rate-based or pace-based, automatically computed
- CTL, ATL, and TSB — your fitness, fatigue, and form, recalculated nightly
- Performance Management Chart — the full PMC plotted over time
- VDOT training paces — Jack Daniels-based pace zones calibrated to your fitness
The Problem We Saw
Training analytics aren't new. The math behind TSS and the Performance Management Chart has been published and openly discussed for over a decade. The formulas are well-documented. The science is accessible. There's nothing proprietary about an exponentially-weighted moving average.
And yet, if you want to see your own fitness trend plotted on a chart using your own data from your own watch, you're looking at $10 to $20 per month. That's the going rate across the major platforms. Some charge more. Some lock the most useful features — like the PMC itself — behind their highest tier.
The math is free. The data is yours. But the software that connects the two costs you a subscription.
That didn't sit right.
No Hardware Lock-In
This is related. Many platforms offer free analytics but only if you use their hardware. Buy our watch, get our software. Switch watches, lose your data. Your fitness history becomes a hostage to your hardware choice.
Sequorr uses HealthKit. That means any device that writes to Apple Health — Apple Watch, Garmin, COROS, Polar, Suunto, Whoop — can feed data into Sequorr. Your training history lives in your phone, not in a proprietary cloud tied to one manufacturer.
Free means free from cost and free from lock-in. Your data is your data. Your watch choice is your watch choice. Sequorr works with whatever you're wearing.
Download Sequorr
Sequorr is available on the App Store. Download it, connect your Apple Watch, and see your training data — all of it — for free. No trial. No credit card. No catch.
If you believe training intelligence should be accessible, tell another runner about Sequorr. That's the only growth strategy we need.
