Why native integrations

HealthKit gives you summaries. Native APIs give you the full picture.

GPS routes

HealthKit only exposes routes for Apple Watch workouts. Third-party watches write summary stats but not the per-second location track — so no map. Native integrations pull the full GPS trace.

Per-sample data

HealthKit downsamples heart rate, pace, and cadence. Native APIs return the raw 1Hz sample stream, so charts in Sequorr match what you saw on your watch.

On-device metrics

Running power, ground contact time, stride ratio, effort pace — these are computed by your watch and never reach HealthKit. Native integrations bring them into Sequorr's analytics.

Training context

Each platform's own training load, recovery, and fitness models become available to cross-reference against Sequorr's TSS/CTL/ATL/TSB engine.
